Testosterone is a hormone that your gonads (sex organs) mainly produce. More specifically, both testicles and ovaries produce testosterone.

Testosterone promotes muscle growth and strength, enhances bone density, stimulates sex drive and erectile function, influences mood and cognitive function, and supports sperm production in males.
