PSA

PSA (or prostate-specific antigen) is a protein produced by the prostate gland, which is part of the male reproductive system. 

The PSA test is primarily used as a screening tool for prostate cancer. Elevated PSA levels may indicate the presence of prostate cancer, but they can also be caused by other conditions, such as: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), Prostatitis (prostate inflammation), and Recent prostate biopsy or surgery.
